Have You Seen the Signs? Wayfinding is Officially Here!

Have you seen them yet? Just a few months ago, we shared a sneak peek into our partnership with the Tillamook Coast Visitors Association (TCVA) to bring pedestrian wayfinding signs to downtown Tillamook. Today, we are thrilled to announce that these beautiful, high-quality signs are officially installed and looking amazing!

These signs do more than just point the way; they signal to every visitor that Tillamook is a place worth exploring. By guiding guests from our local breweries to the kayak launch and veteran’s memorial, we are encouraging longer stays that directly support our small business community.

This project was made possible through the generous funding of the TCVA, turning lodging tax dollars into a permanent community asset. We also want to extend a huge “thank you” to the City of Tillamook for their incredible work correcting old signage and assisting with the cleanup to ensure the installation went smoothly.

In a commendable effort to reduce visual clutter, ODOT was instrumental in approving the removal of eight signs that were contributing to sign pollution in our downtown area. The result is a cleaner, more navigable downtown that we can all be proud of. Next time you’re out for a stroll, take a look! We invite you to head downtown, follow the signs, and rediscover the hidden gems in our own backyard.
