Tillamook Living Magazine Cover Photo Contest Guidelines
Welcome to the Tillamook Living Magazine Cover Photo Contest! We invite photographers and enthusiasts to showcase their talent and capture the essence of Tillamook area for our annual lifestyle and relocation publication.
Contest Theme:
This year, our magazine focuses on the rich tapestry of local industry, culture + tradition, coastal lifestyle, and the spirit of our community. We are looking for a high-quality cover photo that embodies the unique charm and allure of the great Tillamook area.
We encourage participants to capture the timeless beauty of the Tillamook area through various aspects such as scenery, industry, agriculture, cows, wildlife, recreation, and anything else that epitomizes the region’s appeal.
Submission Guidelines:
Photo Content: Please focus on capturing the natural draw and intrigue of the Tillamook area. Avoid directly featuring people in the photographs.
Image Quality: Submitted photos must be of high quality, with a minimum resolution of 300dpi. The image should be scalable unto 8.5 x 11 inches without losing quality resolution.
Submission Deadline: All photos must be submitted by November 30th, via the submission link provided on our website only.
Originality: Submitted photos must be the original work of the participant. Do not submit copyrighted images or photos taken by others.
How to Submit:
1. Use this form for your official entry. If you enter more than one photo, please submit each photo individually.
2. Complete the required fields on this form, including your name, contact information, and a brief description of your photo.
3. Upload your high-resolution photo (minimum 300dpi) in JPEG.
4. Agree to the terms and conditions of the contest and submit your entry.
Prizes:
First Place: The winning photo will be featured as the cover of the Tillamook Living Magazine 2024 issue as well as the new online version coming soon. The photographer will receive credit for their photograph.
Honorable Mentions: Selected honorable mentions could also be showcased in the magazine and on our website.
Terms and Conditions: By submitting your photo, you grant the Tillamook Area Chamber of Commerce and the Tillamook Living Magazine the right to use and publish the image in the magazine, on the website, and for promotional purposes, with appropriate credit to the photographer.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on creativity, composition, quality, adherence to the theme, and overall impact. If a photo is not found or deemed a winner through this process that aligns with our guidelines or theme, there is no guarantee that any submitted material will be used. If a winner is determined, we will contact prior to the publication date to announce.
