Join us for a free, two-hour session of expert-driven discussion and practical steps you can take to stay safe before, during, and after a disaster!

The Oregon Department of Emergency Management (OEM) has teamed up with the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) and the National Weather Service (NWS) to bring a comprehensive overview of earthquakes and tsunamis to Tillamook County.

This session will feature expert-led presentations on the science behind earthquakes and tsunamis, how alerts are triggered and broadcasted, and what you can do now to be better prepared when a disaster strikes.

There will be time for questions and open discussion after the presentations—so bring your curiosity and take advantage of this opportunity to learn from the experts and connect with the people working to keep Oregon safe.
