“Storytelling” By Mike Arseneault: Official N. Oregon Coast Book Launch
July 31, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
FreeAbout this event
Local designer and storyteller Mike Arseneault has created a new full color inspirational book featuring short stories, vintage and new photography and design, and musings and memories of Rockaway Beach and other memorable places of historical and cultural significance on the Northern Oregon Coast. This book should appeal to everyone who lives or visits the area and anyone who loves the beauty, history, and stories of the Oregon Coast.
Join me for my official book launch event at the Garibaldi Historic Boathouse on Tillamook Bay located at 1209 Bay Lane in Garibaldi, Oregon, on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.
At this event, books can be purchased and signed by Mike. Julie Resnick will lead a Q&A with Mike to talk about the origin of the book, his creative process, themes, personal highlights, and answer any questions. It is his hope that “Storytelling” will continue to bring communities together to preserve the vital cultural heritage of the area, learn from the past, and come together to create an even brighter future.
A portion of book sales at this event will de donated to GCHI to further the preservation efforts at the Histiric Boathouse. Mike was actively involved in creating a vision for the Boathouse and helped lead efforts to reopen the historic building to the public in 2018. He also created and curated the first two Gallery Exhibition. #savetheboathouse
