FILM SCREENING: SAMURAI IN THE OREGON SKY
Come out to the museum for a screening of Samurai in the Oregon Sky, and meet the director Ilana Sol. September 17th, 2022 the museum will be hosting two back to back showings of her award winning film, and the opportunity to meet with Ilana herself.
Samurai in the Oregon Sky chronicles the Japanese attack on Brookings, OR during WW II and the relationship that ultimately develops between the Brookings community and the pilot. 2022 marks the 80th year of the events highlighted in the documentary, this is surely a treat for an aviation buff that shouldn’t be missed!
