HUGGS Time – Grief Gathering

HUGGS – Helping Us Give & Get Support – a local grassroots organization that provides funding for a variety of community programs, including monthly Teen Night, Community Conversations and more – is launching a monthly grief gathering.

Join us on the second Wednesday of each month – launching on Wednesday July 8th – at 4 pm in the commons area at the Old Wheeler Hotel for a Grief Gathering based loosely on the cycles and seasons of nature. Each session lasts roughly an hour and a half.  All people and forms of grief are welcome. Gatherings will be facilitated by local author and essayist, Adam Sawyer.

Adam has first-hand experience with grief, has openly shared about his journey, and has found a niche bringing people together to talk about their grief. There is something inherently powerful when there is someone who will listen, empathize and support you.
