Home and Garden Show: Public Safety Fair
When an emergency happens and help is needed, whether on land or water, first responders are at the ready.
In Tillamook County, numerous organizations work together to provide a robust and cohesive emergency service network.
And this year, visitors to the Tillamook Headlight Herald Home and Garden Show on April 25 from 11 am to 3 pm will have the chance to meet some of the valiant and dedicated staff and volunteer first responders.
On the grassy area (just east of the skating rink parking lot) at the Tillamook County Fairgrounds, learn about the services provided by Tillamook Fire District, Bay City Fire Department, Life Flight, Oregon State Fire Marshal, Tillamook 911, Tillamook County Sheriff’s Department, and Tillamook Police.
In addition to meet-and-greets, visitors can interact with demonstrations from the multiple agencies. The demonstrations and interactives are free, open to the public, and educational for the whole family. As some activities are weather-dependent, check back with the Tillamook Headlight Herald website and social medias for updates.
