DESCRIPTION:Dive Into Water Fun & Safety is a free\, family-friendly community event hosted by Tillamook Early Learning Center focused on promoting water and beach safety education. Now in its second year\, this event brings together local agencies\, nonprofits\, and emergency services to provide hands-on learning\, live demonstrations\, and safety resources—especially for families with young children. \nHighlights include: \n\n\n 	\nFree life jackets for the first 200 children (thanks to Greg’s Marine Service and Englund Marine & Industrial Supply/Honda Marine) \n\n 	\nLive music from beloved children’s performer Mo Phillips \n\n 	\nInteractive exhibits by partners like OMSI\, Oregon Coast Aquarium\, ODFW\, US Coast Guard\, and more \n\n 	\nCrafts\, snacks\, and giveaways hosted by TELC \n\n 	\nSafety education from marine patrol\, fire departments\, and first responders \n\n\nDate: Saturday\, July 12\, 2025Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PMLocation: Port of Garibaldi Event Tent \nThis fun summer kickoff is designed to raise awareness about the importance of life jackets and staying safe around cold water while strengthening connections between families and local community resources.
