In addition to their ecological expertise\, our program leaders also speak Spanish\, so we are excited to offer this exploration as a bilingual program! \nIf you’ve enjoyed WEBS’ Tidepool Tours\, you won’t want to miss this. While we’ll be exploring the mudflats of the bay instead of the tidepools\, this program will feature a similar blend of expert-led learning and space to follow your own curiosity. We’re excited to nerd out with you! \nNOTE: Please arrive 15 minutes early to find parking and check in! \nRegistration is required for this free event. Friday evening\, gather at the Kiawanda Community Center for a community concert featuring Countryfied. The Artisan Fair continues throughout the weekend at the gravel lot on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Brooten Road\, open Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. \nSaturday’s activities begin with the beloved Dory Days Parade at 11 a.m. The procession starts at the Tillamook County boat ramp near Bob Straub State Park\, crosses the bridge\, travels north along Brooten Road\, and concludes at the Oar House Bar & Grill. DESCRIPTION:Preschool storytime (PS) on Wed @ 10; developmentally appropriate for 3-5 yos; music\, stories\, interactive play and lots of laughs! In this class little begin to learn about a leader at the front of the room\, how to hold their wiggles\, listening and sitting still. When a child is transitioning from TT to PS my expectation is that they will sit for 5-10 minutes and then they might go play. I do not force them to sit still if they are not ready to. \nA couple of things about the children’s room that might set you at ease: \n\nThere is no expectation that it will be a quiet zone; kids are kids and they are allowed to act like themselves in the children’s room.\nOnly 2 hard and fast rules: No Running & No Screaming.\nIf your child needs a snack\, feed them!

Learn about the anemone clone wars\, how a sea star eats\, or how hermit crabs find their shelled homes.
