DESCRIPTION:Celebrate one of Oregon’s most unique coastal traditions at Dory Days in Pacific City! Recognized by the Oregon Heritage Commission as an Oregon Heritage Tradition\, Dory Days honors the rich history\, culture\, and enduring legacy of Pacific City’s iconic dory fishing fleet. \nThe festivities kick off Friday\, July 17\, with the opening of the weekend-long Artisan Fair featuring local vendors and handcrafted goods. Friday evening\, gather at the Kiawanda Community Center for a community concert featuring Countryfied. The Artisan Fair continues throughout the weekend at the gravel lot on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Brooten Road\, open Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. \nSaturday’s activities begin with the beloved Dory Days Parade at 11 a.m. The procession starts at the Tillamook County boat ramp near Bob Straub State Park\, crosses the bridge\, travels north along Brooten Road\, and concludes at the Oar House Bar & Grill. In this class little begin to learn about a leader at the front of the room\, how to hold their wiggles\, listening and sitting still. When a child is transitioning from TT to PS my expectation is that they will sit for 5-10 minutes and then they might go play. I do not force them to sit still if they are not ready to. \nA couple of things about the children’s room that might set you at ease: \n\nThere is no expectation that it will be a quiet zone; kids are kids and they are allowed to act like themselves in the children’s room.\nOnly 2 hard and fast rules: No Running & No Screaming.\nIf your child needs a snack\, feed them!
