Through examples from coastal habitats\, including tidal foodways\, prairie and wetland tending\, and fire ecology. Attendees will gain insight into how story\, ceremony\, and hands-on practice carry ecological knowledge forward. \nStephanie will discuss how weaving serves as both a cultural and ecological act of restoration\, and share her ongoing work through Rooted Ways\, a community initiative focused on reconnecting people and land through Indigenous leadership. \nThe program will include time for reflection\, audience Q&A\, and viewing of cultural items such as baskets\, plant materials\, and weaving displays \nThere is limited seating for this event; registration is required.
