Transit & Visitor Center

	The new Tillamook Transit and Visitor Center opened on October 31 , 2008 in downtown Tillamook near city hall and across the street from the county courthouse.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was led by the chamber and public officials from the Tillamook community.

The transit center serves as a hub for public transportation in and out of Tillamook county, and as a town square for events in the downtown Tillamook area. The Tillamook area chamber of commerce currently has a visitor information display located in the transit center facility. The chamber plans to staff the center during busy tourist months and for major events in the Tillamook area.
